Did want to point out the issue of "passing" ie people of colour light enough to pass as a tanned white; the history/politics of that & Prop 8 may be something you want to explore in future casts.
Lots of good discussion about identity, appropriation, etc that I would love to have, but not going to get into it online.
Maybe if you're ever in town we can do beer :-)
