If you recall Brooke Baldwin took Rick Sanchez' place because Rick made a comment defamatory toward his bosses at CNN, saying that it was owned by Jews, in addition to calling The Daily Show's Jon Stewart a bigot.
Baldwin - who, like Sanchez is bilingual - was Rick's on air sidekick who focused on reporting on the news trends of the day. The chemistry between Brooke and Rick was one of the pluses of The Rick's List Show.
Before that, Brooke was on CNN's sister network HLN. But never before, even though she's worn a skirt, has she worn one so freaking short. She's done this twice from memory, but not all the time. That's too bad - CNN needs to have her in some short skirt. Look at what it did for Mary Hart's career.
Considering CNN's ratings problems, and Fox News success with the same formula, it was a smart move.
Brooke's got great, athletics legs. Plus, she talks about some of the days most searches for news and does so effortlessly. Baldwin just needs to up her Twitter game just a bit to be perfect.
CNN should not shy away from having Brooke show her legs. If some get pissed about it, big deal - it will pay off in higher ratings and more money and a new start for CNN.
Just because a woman looks great doesn't mean we will not take her seriously, and it's psycho to think otherwise.
Brooke Baldwin is super-hot, super-good, and super-cool. Deal with it!
Agreed Agreed Agreed, I was surfing for her pict after her segment and came upon your blog. Needless to say we are on the same page. Being a leg man I was impressed. I don't like fox but I will be looking forward to the leg wars on cable news with interest to see who will go the highest.

ReplyDeleteToo bad, when Heidi was at CNN she never had the opportunity to sit on the couch and really deliver a leg show like Brooke does.
Heidi was stuck behind a desk and rarely did a "sit down" segment to offer a peek at her luscious gams.
Heidi is now working at KMSP, a Fox station in Minneapolis.

She's on weekends w/Fredericka Whitfield, when JJ sits on "the couch" she is not shy about showin' off her sexy stems!!

After watching her show on CNN I had to change back to FOX because she literally interrupted every interviewee during her broadcast. Whats up brooke? Afraid you may loose face time? Go back to amateur local television will you!

ReplyDeleteInterrupting is a CNN thing. Anderson Cooper is worse....like Brooke, he asks a question then interrupts before the question can be fully answered. I like CNN but lately it's really seems to be about the sdo called 'reporters'.

Brooke Balwin has a loud, crass voice. She's rude, she's too aggressive and even though I like to watch CNN in this time slot, I no longer do so.

ReplyDeleteBrooke Baldwin is indeed loud and aggressive. More than that, she does not listen to the answers given by the folks with whom she's talking. she badgers to get the answer SHE wants. This is very annoying and assumes that the viewer/listener doesn't have enough sense to comprehend what was just said.

Wolf is getting pretty full of himself, as well. He does have much more experience under his belt but... the tooting-your-own-horn is not flattering.
I think Brooke Baldwin is doing an AWESOME job on CNN Live. It's too bad a woman can't be assertive and aggressive without pissing off people.

There is a reason CNN does so many public opinion polls, and it's because they want to know what the american people think and are wanting to know. They ask the guest the questions that the majority of america want to ask, and when people want to dance around the issue, she presses them to answer. Brooke Baldwin is a beautiful and strong woman that presses the issue.

She is the so rude and interrupts everyone on the show every day!!! I could go on and on about that woman. I don't watch her just because of her demeanor.
ReplyDeleteI too was searching for some Brooke pics and found this blog. It's a shame that CNN execs just don't get it. It's a very simple formula. Put hot females on TV and put them in tight outfits showing lots of skin..........get ratings and get rich. Nuff said.
