Zennie, I got your youtube message regarding this video/post. (sorry, but the term "vlog" grates on my sensibility like the proverbial fingernails on a chalkboard...:^))
Anyway-- the short answer is although I don't agree with you that George Bush,sr was a neocon, I do agree that HRC is a faux democrat, or a phoney-baloney liberal, or whatever you might want to call her.
Nevertheless, I don't think the answer is to vote for the republican ticket if HRC gets the nomination.
Now,although I agree with you that the democratic party has become increasingly unresponsive to many of its traditional constituencies, (especially the higher you go up the food chain), I don't believe voting republican is the answer.
Having said that, like you I'm less than jazzed by the prospect of an HRC nomination.
I also think that even if Hillary got the nomination and chose Obama as her running mate and they won, realistically he would have as much influence on subsequent presidential politics as Dan Quayle did during the Bush,sr years.
Don't get me wrong-- although I think Obama is a far more talented politician than Quayle ever was, HRC is disciplined and calculating enough that she'd choose a running mate strictly based on what the polls indicated would prove the strongest choice, even if it was someone she didn't particularly care for.
Once the two of them were in office she'd pretty much ignore him, and a vp Obama under Hillary would probably be relegated to breaking tie votes in the senate and attending state funerals in far off lands.
I have some other thoughts on the subject, and I wanted to send you a couple of links--
I looked for an email address in vain. If you'd like you can contact me at hugozoom at yahoo dot com
