U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder made a serious political and legal error in issuing a statement that if pressed, could cause Holder's boss, President Barack Obama, to lose the very youth constituency that put him into office as President Of The United States. Even before his misstep, Oakland City Attorney John Russo came out in favor of California Proposition 19, which, if passed, will legalize marijuana use for recreational purposes. Here's the video:
In retaliation for what U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder did, I recommend that they vote for every Green Party candidate running for statewide office in California.
ReplyDeleteEspecially vote for Duane Roberts for U.S. Senate. He's in favor of completely legalizing marijuana and hemp for medicinal, recreational and industrial purposes.

Conservatives should be (literally) "up in arms" when der Attorney General decides that the commerce clause allows him to declare war on California:

But who's the bigger hypocrite in the marijuana issue:
- a liberal who demands that the federal government stay out of their health issues; or
- a conservative insistant that Washington impose its will upon the states?

Legalization is a conservative position, and prohibition a progressive one.
BOTH sides of the aisle are schizophrenic on the matter...

For sure don't vote for Steve Cooley for drug zar of LA County. There is a real issue with the old guard. They want to keep their staff doing all the "work" they have been doing so no government jobs are lost. And the reason why they are in those jobs is their self agrandisement so the want to be the chief of as many Indians as possible.
ReplyDeleteOne would have thought that Obama would do SOMETHING different but again the old guard is still in charge. If we want change it is going to have to be at the ballot box over a long period. Don't rely on the old guard to change. Vote YES on 19 and keep voting the old guard OUT.
Really interesting, thanks for the info.
