Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds Set Up Rev. Wright To Hit Barack Obama

Many are upset that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright would come to the National Press Club and essentially throw one of his parishioners, Senator Barack Obama under the bus, saying that he would "come after" Barack Obama should be become president and essentially showing the worst behavior one could imagine, stooping to the level of the stupid questions tossed by the media in attendance and insulting even the National Press Club moderator.

But now it seems we have a person -- a Clinton supporter -- who has it in for Barack Obama. A Dr. Barbara Reynolds, who when this is over may just become the poster child for African American fear of success. On her own blog, Reynolds writes:

And it is a sad testimony that to protect his credentials as a unifier above the fray the Senator is fueling the media characterization that Rev. Dr. Wright is some retiring old uncle in the church basement instead of respecting Wright for the towering astute father of progressive social and global causes that he is.

What?! Where she got that from, I don't know. But what I do know is this person who undoubtedly can't stand the idea of Black male success voted for Hillary Clinton in the Maryland Primary, and not Barack Obama. Think about that. She didn't vote for Obama, voted for Clinton, trashes Obama in her blog, then brings Obama's pastor to the National Press Club to make Obama look terrible and less than authentic.

And with all this, the Left Coaster goes out of his or her way -- whatever -- to make it seem that Reynolds was really innocent in all of this. Give me a break. She brought Pastor Wright back to the National Press Club because she knew they would take him this time versus 2006, when she first tried. She also knew it would have an impact damaging to Obama's campaign.

She -- like some other Blacks -- can't stand to see another Black man make it.

Ah my friend with your link back are you implying that I Snoop “can’t stand” to see another black man succeed?
C’mon dude how could you possible know that?
If you read my blog at any length and knew more about me you could not possible make that assumption.
Although I am not some big time politician or a philanthropist with deep pockets I bet I have raised more money dedicated more time to dealing with specific causes that concern blacks, coordinated more major projects dealing with everything from recreational programs for youth, to neighborhood cleanup projects, community development grants for civil agencies than the dude you think should be president for no other reason than the fact that you share the same skin pigmentation.

You assumption is ridiculous. I don’t believe that ANY Democrat should occupy the White House. The fact that black folks vote for Democrats like a bunch of slaves particularly based on this notion that Democrats “have their best interest at heart” has been and has always been a silly and futile premise.

If you think I’m full of crap feel free to reply and explain why you find it necessary to for all black folks to share the same collective mindset or why you believe individuality should be discouraged within the ranks of black folks to keep us all on the same mental slave ship.

    Peace, Snoop

  2. Actually, I agree with you Snoop. For some reason you elected to read my link negatively. I don't know why. That's never happened before. I was linking to show examples you gave of "other Blacks" who do not want to see us reach any level of success.

  4. I am so disgusted with this “Wright” issue..but more disgusted with the process and even more so with the “people of color” that choose Hillary over Obama..
A closer look at her past and lies should be the issue..yet the main issue is about Obama is Rev Wright..
Where would Hillary be today in the polls if she had to defend why she did not distance herself from Bill..just that alone should keep the Clinton's out of the White House.
There are Black men and women sitting in jail today for an ounce of “weed” and Bill disgraced us and committed perjury..a felony offense..got impeached..admitted getting oral sex while on the phone to congress and redefining the word “is”…
Hillary’s association continued and..last year they earned 109 million dollars..there is a laundry list of questionable “deals” related to association and honesty..yet the media give Obama hell for attending a church and even though he was not there..they say he listened every Sunday for the past 20 years this same clip they play over and over..this one issue in his past compared to the “Clinton’s” history….

If you care as much as I do..read Chap 19 of ; I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings..relate that to today as well as our past..
You are to be commended for your community activity and I thank you for that.
Judgement seems to be the question of the day and I question the judgement of those who decided it was a good time to have Rev Wright in the news..again..my Great Grandmother who had a third grade education said during the beginning of the Civil Rights movement.."a good masta is still de masta"..your personal reasons for not having a Democrat in the White House should be your reasons..the fairness of how a candidate gets there should be the voters based on fair distribution of information.
Last of all..go way back in your history and ask that person who stood there and took all kinds of "crap" without fighting back so they could survive to give you a better chance..somewhere in your history..someone took a slap of kick or maybe even worse..just to survive to give you a shot at being who you are today...ask them how they would feel today if they knew we have the opportunity to show America as well as the world..this is America we are truly a democracy.
