The show, hosted by chef Bobby Flay and Food Network diva Giada De Laurentis, was produced the most watched show in Food Network history in 2008. But how's it doing in 2010?
Last Sunday, The Next Food Network Star was one of the top-10 most popular shows on cable, behind Wild Child at number one, and The Glades, and others. But it beat Mad Men, which drew 2.2 million viewers versus 3.549 million viewers for Next Food Network Star.
Will YouTube help?
Next Food Network Star, as of this writing, is the top trend on Google Trends and has a large video presence on the YouTube front page.
Will that and Rachel Ray make the difference and push it to number one? We shall see.
