Rod Blagojevich verdict: Blago verdict upsets some, but trial should end

Former Governor Rod Blagojevich was convicted on one count of lying to a Federal law enforcement official about a crime he did not commit. What's forgotten in all of the media around the Rod Blegojevich trial is that he really didn't get away with anything.

Sure, Blego's verdict is lucky, and you and I felt like he looked sleezy for a long time, but that is not sufficient evidence to get him on 24 counts.

The bottom line is Blego failed at being corrupt.

The Feds want to "try this case again," but for what? Blego didn't shoot anyone. It's best to stop wasting the taxpayers money on this stuff.

enough is enough the state of Illinois is in so much trouble financially and the Federal government is is just as much trouble, drop it all. Did he kill anyone, sell drugs, government secrets. NO . What a waste of my money on this. Go after the drug lords, the Ponzi scheme people, the killers, rapists, etc.
