Hillaryis44 and Taylor Marsh Want To Destroy Democratic Party

We've got to work to discredit this website HillaryIs44.org and Taylor Marsh as well. They're going to continue their anti-Obama campaign, even as Senator Clinton has endorsed Senator Obama, and many pro-Obama bloggers like myself have rallied to support Senator Clinton as Vice President.

Hillary is 44 and Taylor Marsh need to knock off their rhetoric.

Many -- in fact all -- of the posts on those sites are studies in angry, unsubstantiated, anger. Just rambling on and on and accusing Barack Obama of matters of which were not his doing and also not even justified with a link -- just ramble-bamble words. Words of hate.

The one way we can take this site down is for each blogger to write a post that reads "Hillaryis44.org Must Be Destroyed" Or
"Hillaryis44.org Is Outdated" -- and then "tag" those blogs, and link the posts to at least one other "like-minded" post.

Anyone who has a blog, please do this ASAP. They're out of control over there.

Hillary is 44 must be taken down or change its message to follow what Senator Clinton has asked her supporters to do, support Barack Obama for President. Hillary is 44's owner and writers seem bent on causing the Democratic Party to lose the election, and Taylor Marsh has written that she's "an American first, before party" but I would assert that she's one with a huge problem that given what she's wrote would seem to point to racism on her part.

Indeed, many bloggers think Taylor Marsh is racist, from "Mark Warner Is God" over at DailyKos, to the "Room Eight" New York blog, as well as Oliver Willis, who points to Taylor's commenters and their racist Obama rants. Then we have "Cali Tajano" who says that Taylor Marsh has gone off the deep end. And JohnBrownks has a full analysis of her bio, which is a must read.

But the bottom line is that she and Hillary 44 have gone too far off the desert and must come back home. The only move left is to effectively marginalize them as being on the lunatic fringe. But there are many who say they're already there.

Hillary Clinton Endorses Barack Obama For President In Rousing Speech

Clinton 2008, originally uploaded by BHowdy.

I just watched Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton give a great speech that must have been hard for her, but she overcame whatever feelings she had in the recent past to endorse Senator Barack Obama for President and encouraged her supporters to do so.

In my view, it was the best speech I've heard her deliver. In this campaign and in this loss, she found herself, going from someone that didn't connect with people as well as she needed to, to someone that does connect with people.

Regardless of the complications, I still think she would be an asset to Senator Obama as Vice President, but that's Barack's decision ultimately and I'm sure he will make a good one.

Yosef Abrahamson African-American Hasidic Jew Proof Of America's Complexity

Yosef Abrahamson is a 16-year-old (as of this writing) African-American Hasidic Jew who's proof of the American Cultural complexity I have long talked about. He's proof of the stupidity of racism. For example, I know a woman who I run into at various places in San Francisco, and who once told me that "I've never dated a Black guy because I'm looking for Jewish guys", to which I told her that my last name's Abraham and there are Blacks who are Jewish.

The guy she was with reminded her of how right I was. Of course, they're not hanging out any more. But as stupid as the comment was, there are not a small number of people who think that way, including those in the media, which present "Blacks and Jews" as separate people, when that could not be further from the truth.

More people need to know about folks like Yosef, if only to get smarter.

I almost forgot that Yosef won the right to be New York Precinct Captain for a day after he won a contest where he wrote an essay about healing racism between, well, stupid people, in New York City.

This is the essay he wrote:

If I Were Police Commissioner For A Day
By Yosef Abrahamson age 16

To reduce crime and protect all New Yorkers if I were Police Commissioner for one day, I would take the approach of the Big Picture scheme, what policy I institute today will in the long run consistently applied is going to create a society free of crime.

Effective immediately I would put forth a statewide order to begin a policy of Pro-Active Policing, rather than Community Policing, Pro-Active Policing pays attention to the lesser crimes and makes them just as important as the more violent crimes, treating them as though they were the larger more serious, visible crimes, so that those who commit petty crime don't get away with the small stuff - breaking and entering, car theft, petty robbery, loud car radios, rowdy disorderly teenagers, panhandling, loud mufflers, running yellow lights, etc. Ticket them, tow them, arrest them - - because if you ignore them in the name of spending all the resources fighting crime like murder, etc, the group of criminals gets bigger and better and moves from small, ignored crime to all the bigger and more serious crime. It is not mean spirited or harsh - - we need to pay more attention to the people who are law abiding and want to be safe and respectful, instead of coddling the law breakers, being community policers, saying to these petty law breakers that we want them to listen to us, behave and be nice and don't do that again, and now run along, - - - and they keep breaking the law, because they feel that they can get away with it. Community Policing is the reason we have such an increase in violent crime, because we let the base of the number of petty criminals grow unchecked. Jail works. Law and Order must be firm, clear and the penalty for doing crime, swift and certain. Most crime is thought crime - - it is planned, so society must assert a planned penalty.

I would hold meetings with my Deputy Commissioners, Bureau Chiefs, Patrol Borough Commanders, and Precinct Commanders reviewing our selection, training and supervision of our officers, discussing ways of making sure they have a clear sense of their authority and that along with questioning, apprehending and arresting perpetrators it includes regulating behavior, protecting communities and individuals, pointing out a few bad incidents have happened , however reassuring them they ultimately are the keys to law and order, and in most cases their presence really gives a feeling of safety. On the agenda would be a review of the placements of high tech surveillance equipment in areas, making sure we have no gaps.

I would round up the day with a meeting with the press to release the events of the day, and to send a strong message assuring the citizens and visitors of New York we will live in a just, safe, and civilized community and to send an even stronger message to inform all those that break laws we will immediately began a motivated agenda and unless they correct their behavior they will definitely be going to jail.

Sarah Jessica Parker Looks Like A Horse- No Way!

Now I have seen everything -- for now. This website is on the Alexa Traffic Rank "Movers and Shakers" list and is called "Sarah Jessica Parker Looks Like A Horse", to which I say, no way!

I have always thought she was sexy, and no, I don't like horses one bit. But I've got to admit the website has one funny aspect about it: every time I click from page to page I get this horse sound -- Meeerrrhhh! -- no kidding. I think that may be the single reason for its popularity. According to "Wilbur, the stable master"...

Whoa, girl! We've become an over-night media sensation! Within just 48 hours of launching, this site has been seen by billions of unique visitors worldwide...and growing! Even during our slowest hours, we've been hit with almost 680,000 page views a day! (That's more than the amount of suckers who shelled out $12 bucks to see Sarah's film on it's opening weekend.) Snap!

SJPLLAH has been featured on various morning drive time shock jock shows including XM radio's Opie and Anthony Show, KROQ's Kevin and Bean Show and as far away as 98FM’s Dermot, Dave & Siobhan morning crew show in Dublin, Ireland! (No kidding.)

And, SJPLLAH has been heavily reported in a variety of national and local newspapers including New York's Newsday among others.

Clearly, this is all a big fat joke. A spoof. A gag. A lampoon. Heck, even Ms. Sarah Jessica Parker knows this is a goofy parody. (She graciously wrote to thank us for helping raise awareness of her hit movie.)

A sincere thanks to all the millions of bloggers who took the time to mention us. We stopped counting after about the 400th blog report there's just so darn many. We're especially thankful to the folks at DListed and of course, Perez Hilton for mentioning us. Holla! Or, in the words of poor Ms. Parker, Whinnnnney!

Now, if you're at all a fan of American Pop Culture, you will remember Wilbur from the old TV show "Mr. Ed" about -- you guessed it -- a talking horse!

Darren McFadden Signed By Raiders; Ian Greengross Keeps Promise

At the NFL Draft, Arkansas Running Back Darren McFadden's agent Ian Greengross told me that there would not be a hold out of his client should he be drafted by the Oakland Raiders. Well, he kept his promise as the Raiders signed Darren McFadden today.

Microsoft's Steve Balmer: Newspapers Will Be Dead In 10 Years

Microsoft's Steve Balmer met with the Washington Post on Thursday and talked about why Microsoft worked to join with Yahoo! and the future of hardware, software, newspapers, advertising, and the Internet. In my view much of what Steve's talking about is already with us today, and many frequent bloggers see their blogs as a combination of advertising and content and ads as content and vice-versa. The world's catching up with us.

Here's the video set:

Oil Hits Record High; Get Ready For $5 Per Gallon In Calfornia

Oil Prices hit another record today as the price for a barrel of crude oil hit $139.12 just one day after a record of $135.09 was reached. I can't even find a gas station with a price for gas less than $4 a gallon and generally the cost is between $4.30 and $4.50 per gallon. I drive around to find the cheapest price I can, but maybe it's better not to drive at all!

Zennie Abraham Loved By White Supremacists - No Film At 11

It's funny what one finds about themselves. In this case, I happened to see a post from some White Supremacist guy named Chris, who has a page on something called "Podblanc", which describes itself as:

Okay!

His title is:

Negro Zennie Abraham & Jews Team Up To Offer Money-Dreaming Sports Management Gaming To Kwa Universities At Only $12.50 Per Head

Okay! He spelled my name correctly!

But it's really an ad promoting our sim games. Really it is. I mean he didn't really insult me. I am Negro. My name is Zennie Abraham. Chris says that Dan Rascher -- my business partner -- is Jewish, but ignores my last name. Interesting.

And who the fuck cares. Ah, racism. The mental illness of our time.

Thanks for the pub!

Racist Woman Spits At Obama Supporter Today In Philadelphia

I just saw this email below on the Obama Rapid Response listserv and it's really hurtful to read. It reads for itself. But I must add that anyone who experiences this kind of racism should report it to the police as soon as possible as in California at least, there are hate crime laws and spitting is a form of assault.

Here it is:

I'm an old (66) 60's person.I wear my hair shaggy and bushy, it is gray-streaked.I wear t-shirts & jeans, sneakers.I'm not fancy (although I live on Philly's Main Line) I'm an artist/potter.

Today I was dashing through my shopping. It breaks up my day badly here when I have to leave the house and home routine.I dont like coming home to a dog who needs to go out and 200 emails..

So I bought produce at Whole Foods, where people young and old applauded my OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT T-shirt.

Everyone was delighted. Children were skipping happily.

I stopped at Trader Joes for bread and frozen tuna. And was leaving when a woman my age stood in front of me.She looked me up & down and said "You're KIDDING!"

I said "You're not a supporter?"(Rare for this neighborhood)

She made a horrible hate-face!"I wouldnt vote for....THAT.

You must be CRAZY."

"Me and millions of other people,I'm not going to discuss this with you." although my thought was "Are you a racial bigot or a militant "feminist.?"

She hissed "You're crazy to vote for THAT!! (SPITS)

Fortunately she was too dry to hit me w/the spittle.

I moved away in a daze.

An historical candidate, here in USA...and that???(In a big eastern city suburb??)

I am a Jew, so I have seen my share of bigotry.

But I have never experienced such vituperative hatred; and now I feel for everyone who canvassed in Appalachia and out-of-the-way places, and for people who are "different" who have to live amid such hatred. For these, I've been crying. For children who have experienced such hatred I'm crying. For our dear Candidate and his family, I'm crying. They dont deserve that.We dont want that for them.

Who could imagine that?

What would you do? I think we as Obama supporters have to make sure that acions like that one are reported to the police. This is an outrage.

Show Obama you approve of his change to DNC fund-raising

Obama has persuaded the DNC not to accept money from PACs or registered lobbyists. Show the politicians you approve - go to the DNC's "no more lobbyists" fund-raising page now and give them a little bump.

Tell them you're one of those "FOB's" Even $5 today sends a huge signal to the party, and to DC in general.

Say what? "What's an FOB? Friend of Barack, of course.

A Slap In The Face

Defeat is painful. Defeat is agonizing. Defeat is indigestible. For Hillary Clinton to absorb the uncomfortable and shocking news that she was handily defeated by a stronger, more skilled and sensible candidate is excruciatingly arduous to digest.

The previous seven candidates who along with Obama and Clinton vied for the Democratic nomination all graciously exited the contentious race and suspended their campaigns when it was evident that their paths to the White House were doubtful. Why then did Senator Clinton in front of a deluge of ardent supporters and staffers at Baruch College in New York City feel that it was necessary to selfishly assert she needed additional time to consult with advisers in order to evaluate her next move?

Her opponent had already secured the requisite number of delegates to become their party's nominee, and it was blatantly evident to all that her campaign aspirations had to be terminated. On national television at 9 P.M. in front of democrats and republicans who were painstakingly glued to one of the major networks, Clinton could have conceded and officially endorsed Obama.

This would have been the classy, shrewd and hospitable action to pursue. The one that presidential hopefuls from both parties did this year when it became apparent that their time was up. That their parties objectives and dreams of the country they so greatly cherish took precedent over their own priorities. Moreover, the words unification and courtesy are paramount to the words Hillary Clinton.

Yes, it's my inherent belief that with the country anxiously viewing Tuesday night, Clinton miserably failed to demonstrate that she was fully behind her rival and supported him wholeheartedly. At the very least, it could have sent a concerted message to her supporters that it's time to gather around our parties nominee for a greater cause and greater good.

Furthermore, she sent a direct slap in the face to Barack Obama and democrats Tuesday night that can not be reformed by whatever insincere comments she might profess Saturday.

Getting Politics Out of the Bedroom

If you check out Zennie's post below, you'll see that at a campaign stop in Nashville, TN, on Monday, John McCain was asked about "gay marriage . . . in the context of the preservation of marriage." The question came from a citizen at a town hall meeting who gently raised the issue of McCain's own infidelity, wondering how infidelity as a whole is compatible with the notion that marriage is so sacred as to be off limits to the gay community.

It's a good point. Conservative estimates put the percentage of married Americans who stray around 22%. That's at least 1 in 5. Imagine your neighborhood. Now imagine that 1 in 5 of those homes contain a spouse who is having an extramarital affair. That should put things in perspective.

With so many Americans turning outside their marriages for affairs, is the town hall questioner correct that marriage is not quite the sanctified union in America that it used to be? Further, with religious affiliation on the decline in the United States, how representative of the culture at large is the idea of a sanctified union?

The issue of gay marriage is, at best, complicated. The question is who is best to legislate it? Should we allow politicians with their own histories of violating the sacred unions they vow to uphold, like John McCain, into our bedrooms to legislate who we may marry and enter into unions with? Or should we leave those decisions to the more impartial court systems? Or, better yet, put them to vote? Surely a country where 1 in 5 married people cheat, a country slowly turning away from the notion of sanctified marriages in the religious context, would be able to see past the sanctification issues and allow all people, regardless of sex, to declare their love for each other with all rights and priveleges of traditional legal marriage.

As Zennie correctly points out, this will not be the last time that John McCain is confronted with the infidelity and, by extension, character issue on the campaign trail. I think that this questioner showed that this will also not be the last time he is confronted on the gay marriage issue. When politicians can prove that they can take care of the issues in their own bedrooms, I might entertain the notion of letting them think about what goes on in mine. Until that time (never), they need to get back to legislating about important things, like this war, this struggling economy, the prescriptions too expensive for my mother in law, and the standardized testing my daughter is still taking on the next to last day of school.
